The web sites I design take advantage of Abbreviation and Acronym tags which enable screen-readers to decode Abbreviations and Acronyms with out confusion to the customer.
CSS can be used to modify font sizes and colors for visually impaired readers. Other CSS can be used to print Articles and help the readers save valuable time and cost of ink by hiding unrelated text and images.
